If I'm not mistaken, one of the main themes of Lemonade was racial-empowerment, wasn't it? That was why she was referring to her "black friends." She clearly meant no offense by it. Move on.

I felt like Adele was trying to emphasise the importance of the album's message and significance in the black community as one of the reasons she believes Bey deserved it over herself, but you know what I'm not black so...

right? geez, they're just upset that Beyonce lost so they had to attack Adele. the one they need to attack is The Recording Academy, not Adele. She wants Bey to win as much as everyone else
