Wait, Beyonce debuted in 1997? I always thought she debuted in 2003 with Dangerously In Love since that was, you know, her debut album :sorry:

Not her first in the industry though. Same for Diana, Paul and others.

Sunshine if Beyoncé's debut was on November 11th, 1997 then she's still not 20 years into her career. If Mi Gente is top 10 by November 11th, 2017 then we can talk.

Oops!

She also shouldn’t be credited for it next week, at least

Stop the lies. BB already said she has enough points to be credited.

OT: Congrats to everyone!

Actually she debuted on July 97 as part of Destiny's Child on the Men in Black OST

Is there any logic to how these artists are ranked? It's not alphabetical, or ranked by the length of the gap between debut and last top 10 appearance...

You can also add Prince, given that "Purple Rain" returned to the top 10 following his death.

And although Dolly Parton's first album debut in 1967, she released her first single in 1959. "Islands in the Stream" hit #1 in 1983, which is a 20+ year gap from her first single... But not from her first album.

Thanks and I'll add Prince considering that too. They aren't ranked in any order tbh lol. Just when they came to mind but I could rearrange.

Funny how you only mention Beyoncé and not Michael, Diana, Paul or Justin. Stay pressed.

Janet and Mariah are like months shy of the twenty-year mark (1982 and 1990, respectively). Their last top tens were in August 2001 and August 2009.

Either way she’ll be getting another top 10 with B7 so who cares :gaycat5:
