The way I see the skull emoji is how I use it: whenever someone/something is so inane/ridiculous that I just need to  it. So that's mainly what I'm leading with, and then letting the other ones filter down.

Citrus/Rhisiart - The Halloween route fared a lot better than the emotional route here.

talent - I took this as a reference to old rich men dying, so if that's not what you meant... oops. 

talent - I interpreted this as old rich men dying so if that's not at all along the lines of where you were going... whoops.

Fruity/LMG/Kathlen/Aciid/wesley - I think the actual use of this emoji was important here and you guys all missed that aspect. I wouldn't be like "my grandma is dead " I'd be like "i dropped my coffee all over my lap " It's not that serious. 

Marvin - I feel like you'd react to this song with the skull emoji but I don't think the actual song can represent the emoji.

Lucky: So dramatic! This is literally an emoji.

Riri - What the ****, girl? Do explain. 

 

I tend to see people use this emoji in situations in which they are **** out of luck so I was expecting to hear songs somewhere along those lines. That didn't happen. So I rewarded the Halloween route because it was the only route that made total sense to me. The death songs were in the middle of the pack and the more "off the wall" entries were either hit (talent) or miss (riri).

talent/LMG/Marvin/Fruity/Kathlen - All songs about a snake in one's life and that's the only actual utilization of this emoji I've seen. 

Rhisiart - Really good. Would be #1 if it wasn't so short.

wesley - I actually like this for being different but I had to ask myself if anyone actually sees the snake emoji as a dick.

Riri. - Your song was just really tame in comparison to others.

Citrus/Lucky - Requires far too much outside knowledge to work.

Aciid - I like this song and I get the reference but I feel like dating someone you shouldn't is less representative of the emoji than someone that's completely done you wrong. It pales in comparison for me at least. 

 

I'm glad we didn't just get songs with "snake" in the title. Pretty much all of you took the snake as representing someone dangerous or sneaky. My ranking was more so about who represented a "snake" best metaphorically than who did good or bad.
