The UK with its stupid, isolationist Little England policies has to be pretty high on the list. Tearing itself apart at the seams, internally and externally.

Are you talking about Brexit?

In terms of population or economy power? Imo it's Japan (in terms of dominance. In 90s and 00s Japan was very dominant but in 2010s I feel like they're back to their isolationism), and their population is shrinking also. Venezuela and Syria also seem very unstable.

Yes. There were reports this week that EU nationals are being refused jobs and houses in preparation for Brexit, Irish and Scottish nationalists are screaming for blood, we have no skilled negotiators for Brexit or Trade Deals, our Financial Industry is preparing to flee to the mainland...

Absolute chaos.

European countries in general. Its heydays maybe over. From its peak as a world leader in the 19th century it has been gradually losing global political influence as more and more countries have broken free from its colonial shackles. Its low birth rates and high influx of immigrants will likely finish it off in the next few centuries. Japan is also losing ground now. It's falling birth rate would be catastrophic to its economy in the future, even moreso than Europe, unless it open its borders for immigration. This is normal stage of civilization. For every rise there is a fall. Once you reach the top there's no other way but to go down. All societies from ancient Egypt to UK's world leadership, have gone to history and get replaced by something new. This generation isn't exceptional.
