She’s in Jennifer Lopez/Avril Lavigne territory. Her catalog is so consistent that she’ll fly past them and by the release of her next album, she’ll jump past Christina Aguilera

ontherocks Posted July 10, 2023 Posted July 10, 2023 There are still ppl on here who claim that the GeePee doesn't know her and all of that while selling out Hyde Park. Embarrassing

She seems really grateful to them which you don't hear from the other girls Dua had the same management, and also seemed really grateful but still dropped them anyways As for the label, they let her own the masters so there's no way she's gonna leave them

Born To Die: 4X Platinum (1.2 million units) Ultraviolence: Platinum (300,000 units) Honeymoon: Gold (100,000 units) Lust for Life: Gold (100,000 units) NFR!: Gold (100,000 units) Chemtrails Over The Country Club: Silver (60,000 units) Blue Bannisters: Silver (60,000 units) Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Boulevard?: Silver (60,000 units) Adding all of these up takes her to 1.98 million units, and even if a lot of them are just below their next certification, she's still not gonna go up to 4 million units.

ChartMasters once again proven as a reliable source of estimates despite not having access to label data Yup Chartmasters continues to be reliable And those 36.5m are without pure sales update for while Also we need to consider , label inflates the stats a bit so this is like VERY ACCURATE

It doesn't favor albums with more tracks

Labels are notorious for inflating artist sales, and I'm just quoting BPI certifications. Take it up with them if you have an issue. 2 hours ago, FolkLover1989 said: But @ithinkheknowsoutsold you should not directly relate to certification In UK , some weird chart rules don't allow every track to be considered and Top 3 tracks streamed are averaged down Also this 4m units count SOTB and many of her collaboration, these units were basically based on her streams and sales overall in UK The UK certification are not right measure of consumption. It doesn't favor albums with more tracks I think I know how they got to the 4 million album units figure. They converted the streams to album units (roughly 2.5 million) and added her pure album sales (roughly 1.7 million) to them, and that's how they got to 4 million. 1
