Miley Cyrus earns her first No. 1 on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart (dated Aug. 12), as "Malibu" rises 3-1. Originally a rootsy-leaning pop track, the song was remixed by Alan Walker, Dillon Francis and Lost Frequencies, among others.

"Malibu" is Cyrus' fifth chart hit, but first top 10, as well as her first No. 1. She first reached the chart in 2009 with the No. 44-peaking "Party in the U.S.A." In 2013, she returned with "We Can't Stop" (No. 34) and "Wrecking Ball" (No. 15), while 2014 brought "Adore You" (No. 42).

"Malibu" reached No. 19 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay in July. Cyrus has also tallied five entries on that chart, including the top 10 "Party." On the Billboard Hot 100, "Malibu" became Cyrus' ninth top 10 (including one billed as by her former Disney alter ego Hannah Montana) in June.

:ahh: a ki, why were dj's sleeping on her before

Her music never really received the remix treatment the way Malibu did (more than one or two official remixes weren't usually released).
