Sabrina spent years trying to reheat Ariana's nachos which were actually Victoria's nachos, so this is like nacho reparations.

Who wouldn't want to copy pure excellence like Bed Chem? Victoria Monet -> Ariana Grande -> Sabrina Carpenter -> Victoria Monet The cycle is complete!

Definitely sounds somewhat similar, but Victoria's is less catchy. Might be my least favorite of the three songs Victoria has released so far.

They sound similar but imo they both just sound like variations of so into you by Tamia based off the chords.

I do think Victoria should've put it in a different key and changed the order of the chords because I think she may get sued for this one

Screaming @suburbannature She heard the iconic opening notes of Bed Chem and had to come up with something quick!

was gonna say that sabrina is taking a lot of 80s rnb vibes already on bed chem but actually i hadn't counted on parts of this being a pretty straight steal lol

It just sounds like a basic pop song, which both are. Hope Victoria gets the same success, she's so talented

It sounds like one of those fanmade mashups where they just add the vocals to a different instrumental without mixing anything deadbanana

the guitar part is similar

but i don't hear the tamia comparisons at all rip i keep seeing that and do not hear it one bit

Going after women's bodies when there's an ozempic and eating disorder epidemic right now is crazy work

Ot: It does but I love Victoria's voice so she can copy wtvr she wants!

Bed Chem has a very 80's vibe as does this . i like seeing artists using old school R&B influences in their music.

so far Sabrina or the other co writers are not listed for this. legend Babyface is one of the writers for this.

Bed Chem Songwriters

Sabrina Carpenter Julia Michaels Amy Allen John Ryan Ian Kirkpatrick

Juicy Songwriters

Victoria Monรฉt, D'Mile, Daniel Church, Spencer Stewart, Michaรซl Brun, Babyface, and Tommy Parker

It was actually Harleys in Hawaii that kickstarted the laid back mellow vibe that these songs share.

I think you're delusional, for one if we're playing the "stole" this song or that song game, Sabrina downright "stole" these THREE on Bed Chem:

So what was said matty
