I'm probably going to enjoy it. I wasn't expecting a masterpiece anyway.

Just saw this. It was good. Reese Witherspoon is low-key the best character.

yeah it was good, visually stunning at least. Mindy was the highlight and perfect for her role, but I wish her character was used a bit more.

there were parts of it that seemed really dark/scary for a kids film which surprised me. I would’ve been terrified as a kid :skull: definitely an interesting story tho, my biggest complaint is definitely the script. some of the dialogue felt so corny and awkward

Giant Oprah was a bit of a kii too :deadbanana2:

Just got back from seeing this and I liked it a lot! All of the visuals were absolutely stunning & very well done.

I do agree with others saying that the dialogue was pretty corny at times, but I was expecting that so I didn't really mind :rip:

I was also definitely surprised at how dark it got at certain points, though... I've never read the book so I went into it blindly.

A lot of the people in the theater were families with pretty young kids, and I noticed a lot of them continually checking in with their children to make sure they weren't getting too scared.

Is there a good amount of Oprah, Reese and Mindy?

I know this is supposed to be fun, it looks fun, but wow, they all really in these improvised situations look like really bad actors.

Just came out of the theatre, it was an okay movie. Could’ve been so much better. It was pretty to watch but the acting was meh and the dialogues didn’t help. I wish it was introduced in a better way.

I’ve enjoyed Chris Pine, Mindy Kaling and even Zach Galifianakis.

To sum it up I was underwhelming

I made that comparison because it seems likely that A Wrinkle In Time could do those numbers. I just picked a film much closer than John Carter.

Into the Woods did more domestically than overseas. The B.F.G did in total domestically what A Wrinkle In Time is forecasted to do its opening weekend. :lmao: So yeah, the Good Dinosaur was the only Disney film in the last few years where it looks like u and I both agree the film will

probably end with. But even that is a bad comparison because the budget is like $100M less.

This low budget really will save the film even if the reviews are bad.

Can I laugh now? Or do you want me to wait for the final numbers?
