She's a bigger evil than Stella Lefty imo. Because with this girl you're gonna have people excusing her with things like "but she can serve vocals!!" as if that makes her music any less shite. In fact, I would say it makes it worse. I gave her album a try back when it was released and most of the songs just basically existed to be an exhausting showcase of her vocals, no a single interesting melody in sight. Awful, awful stuff. Wish her nothing but the worst

I listened to her debut and I actually like some of the songs. This one is my fav

Die On This Hill / Pure / The Visitor / You Stole the Show / Mono No Aware / Material Lover are all great, I hope so.

I feel like she's an answer to Olivia Dean (but more milquetoast). I don't know, I feel like artists that feel too much like an industry response don't tend to have a long shelf life. She feels like the Duffy to Olivia's Adele.

lol no. For the amount she's pushed and shoved down everyone's throats I'm surprised her album didn't do better. It wasn't particularly acclaimed either.

What hurt her more than helped her is the 60's aesthetic she embraced. Yes it's sexy, and cool but she's on her first album and it's way too early to pigeonhole your brand and image into something super niche. You'll end up in a Megan traitor situation. She was all do wap right off the bat, changed her sound and flopped.

i think she's going to be big in the uk long term, she's just quietly started hanging about, but i can't say i think there's much to her. she does have a good voice but all the songs are pretty similar, she's a bit cut price adele

Hard to tell and her music is a bit too dull, sure it is in the same vein as Adele and such but boring, if that makes sense?
