all my WPs from the older site thankfully that didn't cross over and the [bb] [b] coding whenver i wanted to make a fancy post. but I won't lie I miss classic ATRL .. I spent most my time on it.

for members who joined after 2017. Atrl was OG classic forum between 2003-2017 and finally got the upgrade and was offline for like a whole week. and everyone's posts got reset and all threads only thing that got moved over was our accounts but it we were all set to 0.

I had like 70k Posts on the old one too

I am from the generation that came after Classic ATRL was over but I don't miss the vitrol towards younger pop girls that older users showed with boomer energy rhetorics as if they were the worst thing that happened to music, from my observation they got a similar treatment by the oldest users that Justin Bieber got from straight men in his first few years of career

Yes, the original ATRL before the software and site layout changed.

Despite the constant issues with the old software, it was messy, unapologetic and you had a lot of popular, funny posters and fanbases (OGs will remember the Ciara stans and the brutal stan wars between the Hive and Navy or the Monsters and Katycats).

This current version of ATRL is neutered, strict and not fun.

That actually sounds like a lot of fun. One issue I've had with this site is the amount of strictness and rules. It does feel in too restricted. It's giving reddit 2.0.
