Xtina has. LM, Stripped, BTB, and Bionic were some successful reinventions for Legend X. Icon M barely changes her sound compared to Legend X.

lets not lie! Legend X had a successful transition from girly pop to sexxxy stripped XTINA. Miley had Bangerz era which was a shift from her old self.

Miley has had several successful reinventions, I'd even go as far as to say that she's one of the most daring mainstream artists of her generation. Whether her artistic reinvention translates to chart success or not is immaterial.

Miley has had albums with massive hits decades apart, don't pair her with Christina

Xtina absolutely pulled off her reinventions. I think she gets dragged a lot because of petty stan wars, but it's odd how y'all can lie and not give credit where it's due. She absolutely kicked it out of the park with both Stripped coming from her teen era and then Back To Basics was brilliantly done image wise as well. Bionic didn't quite go the way it was supposed to but those first years were very well executed.

Both Christina and Miley had successful ones, just not as many as Madonna.

For me, it really just comes down to music. Madonna's reinventions were always tied together with undeniable hits (LAP, Vogue, Frozen, Music, Hung Up, 4 Minutes) and the overall albums were better. And she also always went all-in with the new concept (even with Madame X).

Christina and Miley are fast to abandon an era. Counterexample for Miley, she really promoted Plastic Hearts even without initial huge success and it paid off.

We absolutely have to talk more about Shakira when it comes to reinventions.

That's something about Madonna's artistry and show how she is a real artist, back in the 90's she never need a mood board or trying to play somebody to release something like it all came with her own mind.

Now these days artists are trying so hard to find a new style or sound instead of doing something more simple and related to them and their public.
