I was listening to some Miley Cyrus as I am hyped for her new era and 'Slide Away' randomly played and I realized I had kinda forgotten about it since its release 7 years ago.

I used to really like it, I think it's underrated and deserved much better. Many of her singles deserved better actually. It's such a simple, fresh and enjoyable song, perfect during the summer

What's your opinion on Slide Away ?

This is probably my fave Miley song of all time, up there with Midnight Sky

Exactly

One of my favourite of hers. I listen to it regularly. I hope one day it blows on ticktock so it gets the flowers it deserves

This song deserved Flowers success

Yes!

Came on autopay for me a couple years ago and I thought 'this is amazing what is this from?' I think cause it's from a lesser known album it's not really unearthed. TikTok would love it.

What a time to be alive

It's her best song especially this live performance.

and we should keep saying it! And so did Mother's Daughter.

part of my top 3 Miley songs (the others are Angels Like You and Jaded)

Her best song, no doubt

her short ALMA link-up was necessary for both

Her best song. Period. Deserved Flowers success

incredible song

It's the title song of a Germany reality show called Temptation Island since the release so it's not forgotten here.

One of her best

It's her best song. A top 10 placement on the charts is the least it deserves.

Good song. Strange she released it so out of the blue with no specific album or project in mind.

So good

Yas it's amazing! She deserved to flop tho for shelving the ep trilogy

That's her best song and deserved at least 3 billion Spotify streams!

According to my Apple Music Replay, this was my most played song of 2019, and I can't say I'm surprised because I was absolutely obsessed with it. It somehow manages to sound both fresh and old school at the same time. Honestly, it deserved to be a much bigger hit.

Immaculate taste!

SIC era in general is very underrated. Sucks it got cut short but Slide Away, Mother's Daughter, DREAM, Party, and The Most are all great songs

Probably her best song ever. I just know it will have a viral resurgence at some point in the future and will become one of her classics (like Angles Like You).
