Something I've never understood…

Victoria Justice had a #1 album with the Victorious soundtrack, multiple songs that charted, a massive TV show and was arguably one of the most visible teen stars of her generation.

Britney, meanwhile, has had albums miss #1, singles underperform and entire eras dragged as flops.

So how did Victoria somehow end up being remembered as the unsuccessful one while Britney became a pop legend?

Was it bad management? Ariana sabotaging the transition?

Because statistically… the narrative does not add up...

victoria justice is, respectfully, one of the big teen idols of the 2010s and one of the biggest from nickelodeon, but britney spears is exponentially bigger in terms of commerciality, recognition, and fame. her peak / momentum at the time was way bigger. she wasn't only the most famous pop star / pop girl at her peak, but also one of the most famous humans, overall (i think?). like, even outside of the pop sphere. and doesn't she have a few of the best-selling albums of the 21st century + massive cultural impact and many artists citing her as an influence?

these two cannot be compared, tbh.
