It's obviously contractual.. once the movie is out she'll likely be out of the public eye for a minute.

There is $150M at stake for Universal, of course they're going to push her to be on every talk show. But she's got three months still and she's been looking healthier and managed to finish the tour. I think she's going to be ok, I hope she knows we're all rooting for her.

She already announced last year, that she will take a break after the tour and just repeated herself last month. She is well, in love and an adult, where she can do what she wants.

These people are oftentimes contractually obligated to promote films that they're in, particularly big budget films. A lot of yall refuse to engage with even the most rudimentary level of critical thinking in your lives… I worry about a lot of yall, but mainly out of concern that I have to share oxygen and resources with people so mind-numbingly stupid

Whether "Focker-In-Law" FLOPS or not has nothing to do with whether Ariana Grande does a press circuit for the film. This is only Grande's fourth theatrical film; it's not like she's some box office draw or the reason why anyone would go see this film. If the film FLOPS, it's because it was a bad, unfunny, corny film and because of Ben Stiller's frozen face.

it's been happening since, at the very least 2024 during the wicked part 1 press tour. But Ariana has been fiercely dissected about her body going all the way back to even 2014, people like to forget that, and it's definitely part of the reason why she started wearing all those baggy clothes from 2016-21

She announced it because she was bullied out of the public eye.

It's odd that people took her speech from the concert as diffusing the resentful tone of her PR team's statement instead of the reality that it was reiterating that she blames the media and public for ruining things for her and her fans.

People convinced themselves that somehow their toxic behavior was vindicated by the statement yet are going to reach a new level of insane when she doesn't actually remove herself from the spotlight much and continues posting on social media.

People - for some reason - convinced themselves she'd be doing something like going to a medical facility and are going to go back to harassing her if she doesn't do exactly as they want.
