i owned that CD when i was 12. i had won a geography bee in i think 5th or 6th grade and won a $20 Barnes & Noble gift card and used it to buy Blown Away on CD. i LOVED that album (but would skip One Way Ticket lol)

i was disappointed to find out she was making racist jokes about Obama during his first presidency :(

I came in here expecting praise for Wasted, which is not only Carrie's best song, but one of the best songs of all time

As someone on the other side of my initial Carrie Underwood respect... you need to get into Cry Pretty. That era (and Max Martin's sole career contribution "Quitter") were even further pop than Blown Away. She didn't pick any of her crossover pop tracks except "Southbound" as singles though.

She has many good songs, shame she ended up being maga.
