I definitely think it's looks. Personality is important for friendship, but if I'm in a relationship with you I want a good looking MAN, not a bestie.

Obviously looks. Who cares if someone has a horrible personality and treats you like sh*t when their face and body are attractive.

Looks (you'll stop being interested down the line if you're not attracted) Stan history (it can cause so many problems if they're an O_H of your fave) Personality

This is the hard truth that the gays don't wanna hear clap3

Ideally, you'd want a mixture of both, but I think a good personality and sense of humour can make someone infinitely more attractive. On the flip side, a bad personality can make someone considerably less attractive. You can't date somebody based solely on their looks because a relationship isn't purely physical. If you're only interested in having sex with someone, then that isn't really a relationship.

My partner is conventionally attractive, but I wasn't initially interested in him because I completely misjudged him. I thought he was going to be really shallow and boring, but once I spent more time with him, I realised he was actually really funny, caring, and a massive nerd like me. That's when I became extremely attracted to him.

We've been together for almost seven years now, and I can say with some certainty that it's his personality that keeps me attracted to him. His good looks are just a bonus, if you want to call it that.

Money.

Other than that you need a mix of the two, a good looking person but with awful personality is just good to look at, not to be around. I prefer personally over looks.

Well, I do think most important is attraction. Not necessarily "looks," people can be attracted to people for different reasons than how they look, but sexual attraction is the first and foremost, however that manifests. I voted personality tho, cause sometimes I'm even more attracted to how a guy acts vs his actual looks.

It stops being attractive really quick once you hear what comes out of their mouth...

@OP A mixture, but you can't have everything. No one is perfect.

Of course looks are important, like I'd like to actually be sexually attracted to my partner. skull But idk if being hot is enough to make me want to date someone with an awful personality.

You kinda can't boil a relationship down to an attribute being most important because successful relationships only work from a mixture of different, equally important characteristics.

it doesn't matter how hot your partner is, if you can't trust them or if you don't enjoy their personality, then it's doomed from the start! fishswim

This is such a surface level take on relationships to begin withrip

Attraction is important of course but looks fade dearies. If you want something lasting you need to know how to treat another person and be treated. And I know that this sounds corny or cope to just about anyone who came of age after the rise of social media, but the truth is that real beauty lies within

There's no such thing as more important

If you don't have one of them, you won't have a good relationship

Personality and skills in bed. I could date a big ol' ugly fatty if we can have in depth discussions on Britney's career path and he can lay that pipe down with technique.

So you're not really looking for a life partner, just a piece of life decor to look at

and I bet youʻre single.

I mean, both kinda go hand by hand, a cute guy will catch your attention at first but his personality is what will keep you around or make you want to get away from there.

Personality.

I feel like any guy who I'm attracted enough to for a relationship can eventually feel like a 10/10 to me when we get close enough.

Someone I have major personality clashes with will never feel like a 10/10 even if they're the hottest guy I've seen.
