With how many weeks at #1 will "Choosin' Texas" end?

Featured Replies

It's already leading with 100+ chart points eyeing it's 21st week at #1 rip

How many weeks do y'all think this will end up when it's all said and done? Some saying she can reach THIRTY weeks at #1 chick3 (rip mariah)

Since it still has a 100 point lead at this point I'm expecting it to reach 30 weeks deadbanana2 Unless a major artist makes a comeback

Hopefully she takes the record long enough for Billboard to change their rules regarding novelty Christmas music.

Probably 26-27. I could see it lasting till Christmas unless Taylor drops debut TV but that's still 7 weeks away

Choosin Texas is highkey trash.

Be Her deserved its success instead.

The scary thought of it already reaching close to 30 weeks at the summit if it wasn't for those fake sales boosted quick little #1s by several popular artists

I mean sure, in a sense. But that's also because of airplay which many people also hate. Didn't Taylor, Ariana, Drake, and Olivia all also debut at number 1 on streaming?

You could make the same case for endless songs, especially ones that must endure the Christmas freeze. That's all just part of it.

OT: I'd guess she'll get to 30.

There were a lot of songs that knocked it off the summit through digital variants that would have never reached #1 otherwise. Definitely didn't have the Drake song in mind. That was a legit #1.

It'll probably go to 30 weeks, I think something else will blow up and overtake it.

The way you just scalped @DevilsRollTheDice. ahh

At least it's mostly an organic hit, unlike certain other country songs by certain inorganic and inflated artists. It can get as many weeks as possible even though we know the streaming era gives these possibilies because of how Billboard weighs streams and airplay and how consumption has changed but it's still a massive song nonetheless.

IKI,IKY debuted at number 1 on streaming and sales. I wouldn't expect you to recognize a solo female number 1, though!

My fave does have female solo #1s so that statement doesn't make sense. My fave also has organic hits which is something I wouldn't expect you to recognize.
