Katseye still has six lives — at least on paper.

Business records obtained by Page Six show Manon Bannerman, who has been on hiatus since February, remains on the books as an official member of the popular girl group.

The document, which was filed on July 17, lists all six singers or their respective managers as the owners of Katseye LLC.

The development, at the very least, confirms Bannerman, 24, has not officially left the group amid ongoing fan speculation that her break was a soft launch for a formal departure.

It's unclear if or when she will return, but the door is open for a comeback. Page Six reached out to Katseye's reps for comment.

At least sugababes got to release albums when they were still complete. KATSEYE don't even have an album out and half of the members are already OUT

I really hope all the girls come back and this ******* spell is broken because got damn, it feels like its been a string of bad luck instead of just regular in-fighting, correct me if I'm wrong. I love Gabriela and Hoottie Frutti, and I hope they keep making more music and videos because they definitely have star quality.

They have three 5-track EPs basically equal to a studio album and a deluxe.

I wouldn't put it past them to be faking the Manon hiatus to create hunger for when she returns.

Sophia might come back, but Manon definitely not.

Not a fan per se, but more of a casual observer who finds their trajectory quite interesting.

I think Manon is gone, and this is either hopeful conjecture or a purposefully planted story to throw people off at the start of the tour.

And the reason lies in logic and the realities of the music industry.

The whole taking-a-break thing works as an excuse for the uninformed, but there are some very pragmatic reasons that suggest she's gone-gone:

• The group has moved on in almost every way, and the psychology of her absence has set in. She's not in the videos, songs, or performances, and for almost a whole year's worth of their trajectory, she does not appear. Is she supposed to just slot back in as if nothing happened? While not being featured in anything they perform/reference, etc from the frame she sat out?
  

• Then there's contracts and finances: the group has boomed commercially. Endorsement deals, branding deals, touring deals have all skyrocketed in her absence. I imagine some of this is blanket-covered by the fact that brands enter into broad pacts with "KATSEYE LLC", which likely covers all possible configurations of the group. However, at a ground, under-the-car-hood level, I do not believe there is a world where Manon is earning on work she has not been part of nor banking from campaigns she did not star in (though slay for herif she is) lol. • The Disparity: at this point, there is now a difference in earnings, experience, and seasoning between the current girls and Manon. Something I think makes the idea of her simply tagging back in extremely hard to see as feasible. The train, for better or worse, has kept moving, and I don't think it's as easy as some fans may think for her to simply hop back on.

All this aside, I do think the member stuff - as crazy as it all is - actually is a cool ace/wildcard for them hype-wise. Especially as they keep drawing out the "debut album" arrival. There is a very small but exciting prospect of everyone being back in the fold for that. Again, unlikely af, but it would be interesting and a bit of a first in the Western market with a girl group.

Sophia will definitely come back. I believe when she talks about how suffering from a lack of sleep and always feeling like a machine that's always on. I have ADHD too and have felt the same way she does.

The tea I've heard was that HYBE didn't like Manon and Geffen did like her and the girls weren't happy with her work ethic. I'm disappointed in HxG for choosing someone who they knew wasn't a good fit.

I think it's important to have had a black girl considering Katseye is a girl group with girls from many different backgrounds. I think they could've chosen Samara or Adela instead.

They could've scouted the next Rihanna or a mini-Beyonce.

I feel like I'm more inclined to believe it's their american team that doesn't like her

honestly and regardless of the real reason behind her hiatus it's crazy it came back to bite them in the ass so fast with Sophia's situation sadly (and even Megan for a lil bit if we can count that) then again considering how successful they still are rn it might only make their mgmt even more cocky / emboldened by this kind of decision..

It's my own assumption that if it wasn't causing so much discussion and discourse online that something would have been announced, either a formal announcement that she's out or that it's a legitimate hiatus.

The consistent discussion keeps them alive online, whether it's good or bad.

I do not follow them too much, Hootie Frutti is their only true gag imo, but as a casual observer, 6 girls were too many. 5 seems to be the perfect number for them
