Dua Lipa easily

You are comparing two completely different times, Christina´s peak was over 20 years ago and everything was completely different not only as music and entertainment industry worked and how music and videos were distributed but also the way we consumed it.

Taking this in consideration I think comparing Xtina´s first three album´s eras and Dua´s three album´s eras I would say almost the same but Dua having better future ahead

The one that was able to build a sizeable fanbase at some point.

It's actually Xtina by a bit. Her first album is almost diamond, and Stripped was massive as well. Future Nostalgia was a huge era for Dua but she doesn't have another era that was also huge as Xtina did. But also Dua is younger and still relevant, so she most likely will surpass her if things go well for her, but it's Xtina at the moment.

I feel like more people would've named Christina as their favorite singer if you asked them back in 2003 than the amount of people who would've named Dua in any year this decade, but even without a huge fanbase, Dua's music has still been far more successful and relevant than Christina's and that's what really matters.

Christina was competing, at one time, with freaking Britney Spears who is one of the biggest female singers of all time.

She was obviously a household name, an everyday showbiz conversation, then everyone were left and right when she done massive changes of looks and image.

Dua havent had such fame and even respect from legendary singers/musicians from Whitney, Aretha, Celine, and Labelle, which was hard to be done because female teeny bop singers were ridiculed back in the day and misogyny was so big before.

Yall know Xtina would have been bigger if she followed the formula of just dance and easy to digest music which Dua has been doing it is catering to the masses.

You people are out of your minds if you think Dua has ever been bigger than Xtina was at her peak.

exactly, Dua is better in charting out big songs consistently but Christina was more than that especially in her first two eras, she was like a showbiz tmz
