BO- wise, Zendaya is leading but there are constant allegations that she is not a leading lady material as all her successful movies are big franchises, where she is a supporting act. The movies she led have underperformed or never had the success of her other movies

Her acting is also getting mixed reviews.

Anne is the lead of TDWP2 and most likely getting a supporting Oscar nod for her role in Odyssey. Also, been in the business longer.

Zendaya - everything listed for her was a hit, regardless of the reviews.

Spider-Man is the biggest movie and The Drama the most acclaimed, plus all the press Zendaya gets for her looks, she's clearly the winner.

Zendaya is having an amazing year commercially, but Anne has both the commercial and critical acclaim.

Anne. Way better actress too.

I'd probably give this to Zendaya, she's having a massive year but its close. I'm happy for what's happening to Anne at this stage of her career, she's built iconic characters that is hers alone, Mia Thermopolis, Andy Sachs, Lureen Newsome, and now the definitive and quintessential Penelope.

i prefer anne hathaway, but at least where i live zendaya is way more famous

Zendaya is doing better than Anne in her 20s, while Anne is doing exceptionally well for an actress in her 40s. Both queens.

I don't know how great Anne's reviews were when she was Zendaya's age but Zendaya won the Emmy for both seasons of Euphoria. Clearly she's got the chops.

Anne cause of her role in The Odyssey and The Devil Wears Prada 2. Zendaya had smaller roles in her big movies, but she still had a massive year.

Anne. Zendaya is having a moment that a lot of actresses have in their late 20's where they have a lot of success and it's easy to be an it girl but doing it in your 40's is much tougher. Anne is doing more substantive work.

commercially Zendaya. Odyssey + Spiderman + soon Dune is a juggernaut combo

Anne actually the lead in all her movies, even in The Odyssey, she doesnt get much screen time compare to the title character but the role is much bigger than other female stars including Zen. She could even consider to submit to lead actress.

While Zendaya is clear supporting even in Spiderman and Dune.

Zendaya. Haven't heard of most of those Anne projects. Meanwhile, I heard of all of those Z projects.

I think Anne is more respected, but Zendaya is more profitable I think. I don't know the numbers.

Zendaya for clout and celebrity status, Anne for acting and movie

Anne. She's critical to Prada, Odyssey and Oak Street (and all are GREAT movies). Zendaya's not even in 30% of Odyssey, and Spiderman was carried by Tom. The Drama was good but Rob P carried it. We'll see about Dune, but also she's only supporting to Timmy to that.
