well that's interesting

Act iii: Conboy Carter

What year was this

Same

The clip is 23 years old.

She is country. Her mind!

whats with videos last couple of days, first she was sitting on some old dudes lap and now this

I also grew up never listening to country but then started really digging it in my 20s. Either way, it doesn't take away from her artistry. She was able to craft fantastically unique record

Shes from Texas. Yes she is country. Whether she listened to country music or not is not the same.

20 years out of her life is long enough she can call it "always."

We all know that she didn't care for it until she did daddy lessons and got rejected for it at the cma's with her performance....

That inspired cowboy carter's existence

It really does seem like old, random videos are resurfacing. There's another one with MJ that went viral a few days ago

This was before Taylor debuted and turned Beyoncé into a country stan with her debut album. This is common knowledge and a well known fact.

she said "BEEN CVNTRY" not your regular shmegular boring country

Cosplay Carter

Let me just say that this thread is giving us some more examples of the literacy crisis. This is what happens when things are taken too literally, only because people want their quick little 'gotcha' moment.

Yes. It's very plausible and likely that her thoughts and opinion on something hasn't changed compared to 2 decades ago when Xtina was still relevant.
