We can imagine many scenarios to make this look more impressive, but reality is what it is: Katy is currently finding relevance through songs released over a decade ago, while her last three attempts at new music have been colossal FLOPS.

Gaga also has decade-old songs that resurface and become successful, but her current catalog is successful too. And we're already narrowing "success" down to streams and chart positions because that's the only area where Katy can even compete. Her success is limited to whatever the general public happens to consume, whereas Gaga's success comes from the multidisciplinary nature of her career as an artist.

Anyway, she's fabulous… for a throwback. Fabulous!

Katy needs more than that to catch up with her someday.

A difference of 10 billion, Gaga's career simply solidified itself this decade.
