Hasan Piker to sue Republican CNN contributor Scott Jennings for defamation

Featured Replies

Arguably Hasan's detractors would have more of a case against Hasan for things he's said about them than Hasan (a public figure) has against Scott Jennings.

This is very likely to fail due to defamation being very hard to prove, but in the highly unlikely event that it doesn't, then that opens Hasan himself up to a lot of defamation litigation as well.

Literally nothing will come of this since that streaming grifters reputation was not harmed in any way. It's all for show and both of them are still TRASH.

He's not winning this cause defamation is hard to prove in court for anyone. Waste of money.

And even if he wins Scott will probably appeal it or someone else in MAGA world will sue Hasan for the endless people he's defamed to build his platform and get viral clips. No shade!

good for him clap3Even if he loses we need to start holding people accountable on every level of government and the media for blatantly lying and twisting the truth...

I understand why you'd want to sue someone who makes untrue claims. However, he has said some stupid things on his streaming he won't just back down or keep it real on. Like the 9/11 thing and when he was shocking his dog he always tries to defend it instead of taking accountability

He's no different than any right wing grifter. Like I said before they are all trash and only care about themselves.
