I'm talking about songs that went #1 or had a big moment during this decade (2020-2026 so far) and are already nowhere to be seen:

Greedy

whatever that Morgan & Tate collab is called

they play every single one of those songs on the radio here all day long lol

except eminem's houdini, ngl i thought it was dua

Greedy

You Broke Me First

Sports Car

Revolving Door

Just Keep Watching

This song played nonstop where I lived when it was charting. Now I can't remember the last time I heard it in public.

We have this thread every month and people always end up just posting songs they dislike even though they're not forgotten at all

so many. I have forgotten their names

A lot of COVID hits tbh, everyone blacked them out

I'd say categorically, a lot of songs released during the peak of the pandemic feel a bit memory hole'd. Per Kworb, around 5 songs released in the entirety of 2020 are doing over 1M daily; songs like Rockstar, Intentions (actually pretty much any Changes-era Justin song fff,) Stuck With U, Rain On Me, Toosie Slide, Mood, and plenty of others from that list feel fairly forgotten, probably because no one wants to recall the pandemic.

To me it's Choosin' Texas, which I only knew of from ATRL. I don't even hear people talking about it or posting on social media. Not only do I not see anything special about it but I keep forgetting how it sounds every time I tried to give it a chance to see what the fuss was about.

when we look back to this decade, there's only a few songs so far that will stand the test of time:

blinding lights

save your tears (ft. ari)

say so (+ espresso)

birds of a feather

apt (thank u bruno)

dwas (thank u bruno)

don't start now

we can't be friends

wap

flowers

not like us

kill bill

all i want for christmas

This decade has really been **** when it comes to mainstream pop music.

Drivers License mention when it's doing 1M daily

OT: About Damn Time lowkey

It's crazy to think Montero is from this decade. It feels like ages since that was released.

Cuff it & Break my soul
