The whole situation with her makes me sad because her music was such a formative part of my teenage years. I really thought she was an open-minded and forward thinking artist at the time, but I guess it was all smoke and mirrors with a dash of queer imagery to get the right audience support. As bad as the impact of social media can be, I'm glad it helps expose people like her.

I stopped following Roisin after her first transphobic tirade. But every time y'all make a thread it's like sticking your finger inside a wound. She was (probably still is) a great musician. Her music and visuals were absolutely everything. It's such a crying shame she turned out this way. What little hope I had she'd turn it around has vanished completely

The way this lady has not made any relevant music in the time that I have been a conscious human. Like OK girl I guess in 1997 people liked you a lot! I'm still not quite sure who you are or what you do and the only time I've ever heard somebody say your name is detox, a trans woman, who you literally have worked with so like for you to turn around and be the J. K. Rowling of whatever kind of music it is you make is very interesting to me

I had a kii the other day when I saw one of her tweets that said artists are afraid to speak up because they lose the money of the 'rainbow maffia', which tells me she hasn't been earning a thing since she attacked the only people who were ever there for her music. Her TERFism is her only claim to relevance now, and she's clinging to it with ever diminishing result. Suffer!
