Not to mention, her latest single "Watch It Burn" didn't even chart inside the Bubbling Under Hot 100 in spite of having promotions, what has happened to her charting power? Discuss.

About the same time GaGa lost power to get a solo hit. Maybe a little later.

Like with everything else, I think Woman's World was the final nail in the coffin. It was the single biggest misreading of the room in pop music history. She had enough goodwill and momentum built up for that to chart for exactly one week, but then spent it all immediately in the worst way, and she hasn't been able chart on the Hot 100 since.

it started when Taylor released Bad Blood on 1989 and said it was about a nondescript "female singer" taking her backup dancer(s) from the Red tour on her Prism tour (was it called Prisimatic tour?)

swifties being swifties, they group with the whole mob (myself included at the time) and stopped supporting Katy for years
