#8 is absolutely insane for anyone at Madonna's or Kylie's age. Same peak as Padam Padam and that's an anomaly that went viral, higher than any Madonna song since Celebration, even higher than Popular. No one in their 50s goes higher than the top 40 at most. You're just saying ****

Anyone who doesn't think this is monumental is crazy. Madonna getting 4 songs to chart on the UK singles chart is already pretty extraordinary for an artist her age, but 3 of them hitting the top 40 and one of them even being a top 10 hit? Practically unheard of. What other 67 year old female pop star has done this?

Airplay doesnt count in a single country outside of america and for a reason. Makes no sense.

Can anyone explain to me the 'will peak in September' commentary I'm seeing?

I'm assuming this is because of the CD singles, but didn't they just ship the singles to get the UK Top 10? Do we mean in the US? Is there some other factor I'm missing?

It's a wild peak to some people because of their age and how long they've been in the industry. They got a top 10 n the UK because the CD singles were shipped early in the UK only (most likely in order to secure the top 10 peak). The cds were not shipped out to the rest of the world just yet. They will likely be shipped out alongside the vinyl (and I have a feeling an upcoming cassette variant) in September.

They only shipped some of the CDs (UK orders only too), there's a 7" also out in September and remixes to come etc.

Yeah, I have to admit, I'm pretty underwhelmed by it too. Love Sensation was already my least favorite song on the album and the remix didn't really do anything to fix my problems with the original. Imo the OG is a 7 and the remix is a 7.5, maybe an 8 if I'm being generous.

Honey dont get it twisted OG "Love Sensation" is a masterpiece and one of my fav songs on the album.

I'll never understand the lack of taste some people have. For me, Love Sensation is an absolute 11/10.

I know, right? I know it's all subjective, but to put Love Sensation at the bottom of the album is insane.

I do prefer the remix with Kylie for obvious reasons, I think it elevated the song enough without going overboard.

As for the success of the song, the fact that it managed to go be #8 is way beyond anyone's expectation, honestly. To people that expected to go to number 1, it's wishful thinking, dreamer territory.

To be fair, the OG song has been out since June and it already had another remix beforehand

As much as the duet is a serve, Kylie is only singing already existing parts of the song, I guess you can't expect the fanbase to bop to the same thing for eternity A new original song would've had more legs (or if the song had featured Kylie from the get go)
