The second single's video is done (the one he teased the choreography), so surely that will be the actual single to get a push. Wasting comeback hype on this was ridiculous though

There's a lo-fi flavour of The Avalanches in the way the samples are layered, and he mentions the influence of Swedish shoegazers The Radio Dept, 'and things that felt a little bit more band-y. I think there's a natural pendulum swing from the last album being so electronic. There's electronic moments on this album, but overall I wanted things to feel a bit more… sloppy.' He recorded a lot of the vocals at home on a mic set up on his desk to keep them from sounding too slick.

i'm not listening to it much but i love it, it's sth different, especially for him, very laidback...

As a troye fan , not a stan beware though I wish he had a bigger mainstream presence but I guess since gays make up a tinsy bit of the ww pop this was to happen. I loved rush and he should have won the grammy over kylie...padam aged like milk. He got grammy noms for great dance songs... take the hint Troye 😘

I'm a Troye stan and have attended all his tours and bought HLP the day it was released but this is the worst song he's ever released. I hope the next single is better.

Overall album description: Troye said it's 'all over the place'. The tracks he played had a 'lot of singing and melodies'. The dance tracks are 'very good', Troye felt it was hard to put himself on the cover because the album is 'messy'. He's shooting a new music video this week as well.

Le Boy - Troye is excited to perform it live, no song description given

Party - The second single, interpolates Music by Madonna. The only song with the 'talk-singing' vibe from the listening session. Great dance track, the users fav song from the listening session. He sings lines from 'Music' in the song. He said that Madonna personally approved of the sample and that the music video is very 'provacative'.

Troye Meets World - More of a slow song, possibly co-produced with Finneas

FF (**** Forever) - 'Big pop energy' with big drums. Possibly about being wrapped up in an imaginary man

Sex Star - About Troye meeting a guy and worrying he won't find him attractive

Cowboy - Made from snippets sent by Troye's brother, Tyde Levi. Slower, more mellow track. About Troye dreaming of being with a cowboy (lol).

Canada Dry - About an unrequited love with a Canadian man. More dancey and rhythmic with 'a lot going on production wise'.

He played one more slower song that the user said they don't remember well.
