Hot 100 dropouts for the week! As many know, Gaga performed on the Superbowl this past weekend, so Million Reasons is bound to re-enter, and probably will even pass it's original peak!

Poor the 91-100 songs :rip:

Impressive (and kinda sad) how Million Reasons dropped out of the HOT 100 in one week and will get a new peak in the next one.

The Weeknd era more like a The Weeknd ft Daft Punk era, with I Feel It Coming a promo away from top 10. Party Monster was good but music video was lacking, I really liked that song. Shape of You, a well deserved number 1, hopefully it'll last more weeks on top.

Oh, I wasnt talking about I Dont Wanna Live Forever vs Chained to the Rythm.

I was talking about their inevitable albums. They will probably release around the same time...

Katy will release KP4 by this Q1/Q2 but I'm not sure Taylor. But we all knew already that TS6 will obliterate KP4 by light years. And this is not a joke :dies:

Wait, someone said Katy doesn't have streaming power

is that supposed to be a joke? Let's pretend DH and Roar never happened

even Rise, a  song i legit never heard on radio has over 100 million streams.

If the song is good, it will destroy streaming. If it's "ehhh" or bad, it will do average on streaming. Simple as that.

"Beauty and the Beast" and "Everyday" by Ariana Grande will not debut in the next chart? I don't see them in your predictions. Thanks!

Katy won't have the streaming to even threaten for #1, imo.

Katy 'Most streamed female artist ever' Perry doesn't have the streaming? I'm genuinely curious why do you say that?

Well, she hasn't released a lead single since fall 2013. There's no precedent for such a single from her since Spotify blew up in 2015.

I make my prediction based on the likely sound of the record (i.e. pop without urban influences) and the demographic composition of her fanbase, which I believe to be predominantly buyers. And I don't think she has the same reach among younger members of the GP as someone like Taylor does.

Hmmm true, ODS is predominantly urban, but her YT prowess should also be taken into account imo

Yeah, they will become the next two superrecurrents (songs that are removed due to the 25/52 rule). It's highly unfortunate.

I'm not saying that she'll do badly on YT. Do note, though, that she's not especially local, so the video could conceivably do really well WW and still do "just" well here (like with Shape Of You right now).

Right... I forgot about that, she could be getting like 10mil daily updates but if only 1mil comes from the US that still amounts to a measly 7mil weekly :/

My bet is that Katy will comfortably debut at #1. I mean. she's got the Grammy performance on Sunday if her starpower isn't enough.

I hope Castle On The Hill bounces back tbh... Ed should perform that at the Grammys
