Billie Eilish decimates Hollywood's craze of 'botched face' surgeries

Featured Replies

Billie went on Amy Poelher's The Good Hang and shared her thoughts on growing up.

"I am so excited to age, and I am so excited for my face to age, and my body to age and not change it, you know?... And I want my kids to look at me and have my face to look like their face and not some botched version of whatever is going on".

Good for her. I haven't seen a single ******* wrinkle or a moving forehead in Hollywood in ******* ages. Even Emma Stone is at it now, with a brand new face when she attended the Oscars a couple months ago. It's ******* creepy as ****.

i do not mean this as shade in any regard, but it's really easy to feel excited to age at 24. let's see how she talks about it in 20 years

How can I save an ATRL thread so I can come back to it in 15 years just in case?

While you know I agree a lot with you, this one is a bit more nuanced to shut down.

Female celebrities (and male to an extent) are submitted to a lot of pressure for their appearance whatever they do, they "looked aged" when they don't do **** to their face, they "look creepy" when they do. It's not always easy to escape this kind of pressure, even if you regret it. There have been exposés where agents and companies pressure stars to do surgeries cause they won't get any work next.

I agree a lot with Billie's point, but at the other hand we gotta be a bit more graceful and acknowledge that there's an industry and an agenda.

Let her be young and learn these lessons herself jfc. Y'all hate when young artists are corporate sockpuppets and you also hate when they speak like real young people

I said the EXACT same thing at 24 lmao and now I'm getting non-invasive stuff done all the time to at least prolong everything a bit. It's a slippery slope so I hope I can later on resist the "one more procedure"-trap (I'm 36 now) except for that one REALLY good Brad-Pitt-Facelift when I'm 60 heart

Her boobs are nice I guess (as a gay man, it's true) but she is so pretty too.

Honestly my dad really annoys me when it comes to stuff like this as when somebody has had work done he'll be like "LOOK AT HOW MUCH WORK THEY'VE HAD DONE" and then goes on a rant about why people can't age gracefully and about how shallow they are. Then when somebody hasn't had work done he'll talk about how much they've aged and that he can't believe how much they've "let their self go" - you really cannot win. rip

And to think, celebrities will be dealing with comments like this on the daily and at a greater magnitude from strangers and people from within the industry itself. I would absolutely hate being famous. Imagine having every minuscule detail of your life and appearance critiqued 24/7. A nightmare!

gaycat6 this girl still acts as if she is a spoiled 14 year old. It's like she can't shut up about stuff she clearly has no idea about, you know?

I mean...at 24 is easy to say "i wanna age" when your collagen levels haven't yet started to decrease lmao.

She seems to think a lot about these things.

It would be nice if she actually spend time to proceed with some education since she was home-schooled all life and haven't got any education since the age of 15.

I dont like how she delivers this statement. Shaming those who get procedures isn't the way to go. Just say you aren't planning to get plastic surgery and call it a day sis.
