She's been far more relatable than Beyonce ever has or will be tho. We've seen Rhianna's personality, while we've only ever seen Beyoncé's business personality.

Y'all do know "relatability" is just a facet of marketing, it's just the same as how Taylor used "authenticity" to promote herself, constantly highlighting her role as a songwriter and as the owner of her music. Yes it's totally fair and just, but she isn't doing it purely for her own pride, it's also an incredibly powerful marketing tool.

All of these pop stars are products and their social media and ways they conduct themselves in public are generally part of the brand building. There'll have been hundreds of PR and comms strategies behind both of them, "if you get asked xx, say or do xx".
