Wouldn't she need to sell like 86 million physical album copies to do that? She would need like 14 albums that each sell over 6M to be able to get there, which is almost impossible for anyone in this day and age to achieve even if Taylor has the highest shot out of everyone.

I guess he means top 5. Taylor is at 88M, 128M are needed to be top 5 right now, so the gap is 40M.

If you hate comparing across eras or wanna do meth math like that one Britney stan to discredit EASs, then the best way to gauge the GOAT is relative to peers under the same circumstances and methodology. Even if you don't like CM, that would still control for that. Taylor's streaming lead is more than double Madonna's pure lead. And if you wanna compare pure sales between contemporaries it's an even bigger bloodbath.
