I mean self immolation is historied. Aaron Bushnell set himself on fire to protest the genocide in Gaza. Reading this Wikipedia article rn for Thích Quảng Đức, who set himself on fire to protest Buddhist persecution in Vietnam in 1963, also provides several names of Americans (Alice Herz, Norman Morrison, Roger Allen LaPorte) who self-immolated to protest the Vietnam War.

But it's always healthy to be skeptical about things that happen like these, where people with dirt on those in power die in painful ways. There's that Ellen Greenberg murder that Josh Shapiro's office labeled a suicide, even though she had multiple stab wounds on her back. And even on the civilian level, Tonya Renee Meisenbach narrated in a video of hers I saw once (don't have the time to find it rn) that her ex, who set her on fire, told the cops that she did it to herself, I believe. So yes, it's worth it to keep watch for clues that somebody else may have been actively involved in her death...

It was reported that she was drunk when she did this and recorded a video dousing herself in gas before she did it. Also, she talked to first responders.
