Reminds me of how she's adjusted her Abracadabra sash at the Mayhem Ball to represent comething about each city/country she tours. A true humanitarian, her being featured in this particular halftime was a no brainer.

Also LOVE the fact that they went with a Brooklyn-based, Dominican-American designer as a nod to celebrating Gaga's (who is from NY) and Benito's (whose father is Dominican) cultures coming together on stage and also slightly adjacent to the Nuyoricans subcommunity in NY.

Such a subtle but powerful choice. The intention and attention to detail.

Lady Gaga may not be my #1 favorite popgirl (i mean look at my username) but I will always hold HER to the highest level of respect and adoration. 19 years of nonstop RELEVANCE in media and constantly doing good WORK. Movies, music, live shows, she's just such a STAR and such a generational talent. She's gonna be here for another decade at the minimum.
