I know he is a terrible guy but we are leaving the elephant in the room. People focus too much on bashing looksmaxxers but never say anything about the societal setup which literally caused the creation of the obsession over maximising looks.

I think economic anxiety is part of it. A lot of young men feel like they don't have a future so they are concentrating on something they can control. They also seem to be lacking positive male role models at home and especially in society

I think it's easy to scapegoat these losers and say "Look at these degenerates, the ills of society.", and as someone who loves a spectacle, I think these observations tend to derail the greater conversation which is who is funding these losers? Why are they being platformed all over the internet? We used to laugh at these people and keep it pushing, casting them to the dark corners of 4chan, but now they're being legitimized because we keep talking about them!

It's largely social media, they aren't the only ones dealing with a bad economy but the stuff they post is equivalent to that of outright monsters.

He is mostly seen as a joke. He been exposed already numerous times by people who know him irl. He being describe being severely insecure and unpopular in high school.
