Madonna has had countless beefs throughout her career and a general opinion of being a nasty person by industry people. And Grace Jones as well. Gaga is the exact opposite. I've heard stories of her being such a caring and supportive artist. She even went to shows by indie acts and went backstage to them and complimented them and that was all without any cameras and at unknown events. The reason why she's still here other than her talent is that she never burned any bridges. It's when you flop the real opinions of you come out but Gaga's always been a sweetheart so the industry still wanted to work with her.

When has she not been authentic? All her projects are her at their core. She never released an album filled with Max Martin pop songs or ran to the absolute most trendy producers for a quick lil' hit, even when she was flopping. She always took her own route. All her albums are still her even if they weren't perfect.
