I agree Gaga is always supportive to younger artists.

Imagine being 67 and so nasty to a young artist that look up to you. Madonna and Grace were wrong for how they treated Gaga.

Madonna and Grace Jones had every right to say what they said. You can't just come on the scene transparently biting the style and copying the music of legends the way Gaga did and expect there not to be any raised eyebrows. She's gotten off very easy if anything

Not to mention that Gaga never ever checks her fanbase for their behavior towards every other female artist under the sun, even enables them as we've seen on that chatbox thing she did on her last tour

Folks always drag Madonna for the "reductive" shade, but Grace Jones was so much ruder to Gaga than Madonna ever was imho Gaga's a saint though wbk. 99% of the people she's met have nothing but positive things to say about her

She literally was vocal about Madonna (ironic because that's what Madonna lacks in her artistry) and all her other idols since the beginning. What does it even mean that "she's gotten off very easy"? Why should she have had a hard time simply for paying homages?

Just admit it's because she was very good and talented from the get-go and stop it. This is a disgusting comment.

Of course she was. Gaga wouldn't still be here without 'a soul'. The industry doesn't use artists without a personality for too long (see: Leona Lewis) and she couldn't have gotten such a large and devoted fanbase if she didn't have a soul.

Also, she's a very decent human being unlike some of her peers and that's the ultimate proof of a soul there is.

LBR a lot of what Gaga says comes off as insincere and put on so as to be seen as this beacon of positivity and kindness.
