After being on here and Twitter idk why I had this image of Addison Rae being praised as the next up coming MPG, kinda like Normani was at the start. But after that Grammy performance I kinda just had this realisation she's very mediocre? Not at all the star you all painted her to be.

well considering how much yall gas her up id expect her to be

she is talented. you can't put on visuals like this and not have some form of talent. thousands of people around the world sold out her shows. idc if that's the atrl narrative, even BEYONCE gets this label, but there's no truth to it. having weak vocals and not impressing you as an individual does not validate someone's worth as zero, just because you didn't like her performance and yes, credit goes to a tour director and choreographer stylist etc. but Addison plays a vital role in ALL of this, and that's why the era succeeded. not because of anyone else. there's a reason why MANY artists who have had Addison's opportunities do not have pictures like this, because they lack her talent to create cohesive music, visual and perform it.

she's the next IT pop girl.
Her debut album was a success and she's a grammy nominated artist. She's here to stay.

OT: she's still a Tik tok "singer" who came from a rich family and puts out bland faceless music that could easily be released by plenty of other artists. I'm not denying that she's putting in some effort, but effort isn't always enough. Maybe she'll pull a Sabrina Carpenter and change my mind with a future release…

The girl is brand new. She would not have been nominated for BNA if she did not have some kind of talent... there's so much room for improvement!!

It's funny how we all have different tastes because I think Sabrinas latest album is the most bland sounding album ever apart from maybe "house tour"

I must say I really didn't love her album and I found it pretty average, except for a few really standout tracks

WELL. I went to see her live and she really blew me away. Totally surpassed my expectations.

She had such an amazing stage presence, her dancing was impeccable and her vocals were really solid.

It felt like a full ~concept~ which was a pleasant surprise.

Honestly, my only negative criticism is as soon as she started talking it was one of the most annoying experiences of my life, but she didn't speak for long and got back to giving a full on, full singing, all dancing pop show.
