He will most likely do that in 2027 for the "actual" tour and not these residency runs, there's no way he's only doing these 7 cities the whole era when the last tour had several runs with different staging etc and the expansion cause of Harry's House.

His team owns Madison Square Garden, so he probably gets it for free + gives them profit. He'll do stadiums in America next year most likely.

All the venues except for the MSG are stadiums, so I think NYC concerts will have a special stage setup for that arena particularly making it more "special". Also he's close with the owners of the building.

Steve Kornacki made sure to say "starting with" most of the time, meaning there'll probably be shows added to these.

Edit: I mean, that there'll be more dates in each or most stops. I don't think there'll be more cities added this year. He'll probably do a second leg of tour next year with a more traditional set-up.

There's just no way he doesn't do Italy and Berlin lmao. Yeah, this is the starting point. My guess is that they decided the demand was too high to only do a traditional tour and decided the residencies to start were the best way for him to not be exhausted touring 2+ years like the last time.

Can't he just book 7-8 nights at MetLife instead of 30 in an arena That'd still be really impressive. Will no one else be able to book MSG from Aug-Oct

that makes sense. his last tour was several years-long, right? I went to a show at some point lmao.

I just feel like jumping from stadiums to MSG means his show will be pretty mild and something scaleable. more Mayhem Ball, less Eras Tour/Renaissance Tour, if that makes sense.

He will never do an Eras tour type of show. He's not that kind of artist. His focus is the music and the performance.

Same. I think he really enjoyed the tour but was also exhausted. This year doesn't seem that gruelling. He'll be in each place for months/weeks which is much more manageable than having a different time zone every other day.

I somehow don't think he'll take more than 2 years, 2 1/5 for his fifth album. I think this was an anomaly because of the circumstances in which he ended the last era (two eras back to back with barely any rest in between, a pandemic, two movies, two years of touring, etc).

I can see an US stadium leg starting after the residencies, then Europe and close with another run in Latin America. Unless he goes crazy and records another album for next year
