The Beyonce overrated thing has always been strange to me because she has always been objectively talented. She is an amazing Vocalist and dances and is a great performer who also is conventionally attractive. I understand not liking her music or feeling as if she is not the greatest musician to ever live but at the some time people have to stop pretending like they don't see why people would be Crazy about her. I prefer Janet Jackson discography over MJ but I would never call him overrated because he is one of the greatest performers alive and is a vocalist. I don't like Whitney houston Discography but I would never call her overrated either because she has one of the best voices ever in pop and music in general. I just can't call a musician that's exceptionally talented overrated. What are Y'all thoughts on this lmao?

She is an incredible vocalist, I'm lucky enough to have seen her live three times, incredible dancer, her music is soooo diverse and consistent in quality. A one of a kind legend. You can't deny her talent.

The people that act like they 'hate' her actually just hate the way she's regarded in the industry and by the Beyhive.

She's way too good as pop star so they felt threatened by her + her music is too polarizing at times + racism / she's a successful black woman in a white dominated industry

The Beyonce emotionless ballad thing is a fair critique or opinion but I also think people expect black artist to do Church belts and be shouting when every sentimental song don't really need that. At the end of the day a Voice should be used as an instrument more than anything. I also think there is other ways to show emotion while singing without having to do church hums. Also Halo is an angelic song and has the vibe of that not a soul record. Bey version of I'd rather be blind on
