idk. But it proves the whole "false accusations ruin men's lives" thing false. Like sir, hm not even the true accusations are ruining their lives

  • He's wayy past his musical creativity prime, all of his newer albums are beyond tired and boring. Every once in a while he has a good song. His 20 year long career and "performer" image is really wh

    i still remember that D...

the average person does not care about a person's past legal history

Good looking men get passes for crazy behavior.

If Luigi Mangione was fug do we honestly think he'd have supporters?

I genuinely don't understand the obsession millennials have with him. I am old enough to remember when he came out and of course he was talented and showed a lot of promise. He's made some really good songs over the years but he's extremely overrated as a performer and very limited musically. I don't know what makes him so special to people

hes the biggest male in R&B and has been unchecked for a long time

It's especially odd and hypocritical that ppl forget/excuse his actions (which were clearly documented: visual evidence) while people like Luke Gottwald are condemned and blacklisted from the industry off a single accusation. Definitely some nuance there

I do too, but it's not the kind I like. He has a pencil dick with all length and no girth. If I could remove it, I'd be able to dip the tip in ink and still write in fine print.

OT: His appeal is mostly nostalgia from being an R&B heartthrob of the 00s and 10s. It's kind of like the appeal of Usher. His music isn't hitting like that anymore but women will always be obsessed with him because he can dance and make good sex music.

I don't know anyone that is really obsessed with Chris' music like that though. He's delved into the McAlbum territory where he releases albums with 35 songs and none of them are memorable after a few months. Indigo was the last time people were actually impressed with his music and even that was a trend-hopping album made for the charts.

Boy crazy women are everywhere and it's low key humiliating bc they will support straight men to a degree they'll never see in return unless it's through onlyfans and such. Much like you will come across an LGBTQ "ally" who just so happens to be dating/married to a misogynist/racist/homophobe. It's that same sort of logic.

I think he has evolved to the type of faceless generic feature artist. People just enjoy the catchy music without caring who the artist is, so as long as he feeds them what they want, he might as well be an AI agent.

Like, people must have heard through some of his hits of the last 10 years while browsing social media, but if you ask them to name one Chris Brown song, most people cannot.

I also think it has to do with the fact whether we like it or not that the subset of Chris Brown fans are genuinely the type of people to simply not care about DV and think its part of the growing pains of relationships.

The reason why cancel culture is so powerful towards women is that their audience is primarily the same people that CARE about morals and have a backbone, sadly, most CB and male artist fans just don't care about that and are apathetic at most to those causes.

Yeah he never lived up to his potential. Instead of making interesting, unique music he's just churned out generic slop for the majority of his career with a couple of notable exceptions (Fine China is the only one coming to mind). He also gets praised so much for his dance moves but it feels like the same gangly choreo every time rip

The black community easily excuse men until their behaviour is inexcusable. He is loved in the black community unfortunately and seen as some kind of victim that the industry powers want to cancel . A recent example is Megan and Tory lane scenario. A lot of blacks still support Tory and see him as a victim. Go to shaderoom comments section on IG and see for yourself.

PS- I'm black
