Because the songs aren't good, mid

She's a good rapper, but doesnt have an ear for hits. She kills it on features.

While both tracks have been disappointing (with visuals running laps around the songs themselves), she's also 100% independent now.

Give her a chance to build up her radio/streaming team, and I think 2026 should be a more exciting year for Megan on the charts.

Lover Girl was a bop but it's nothing groundbreaking for Megan. I can't even remember what Whenever sounds like.

Megan could flop for the rest of her career but at least she ain't Maga and married to a r*****

I love Megan as a person and I could see (and hope) she has a Queen Latifah career trajectory because her personality is so likeable. I've stopped checking for her music ages ago though.

As much as I love Megan, her last two singles were not up

to par with her bigger hits. Bigger In Texas deserved better last year tho.

I love Megan but those songs were not good. She's very talented though so I think if she takes some time to truly be inspired, she will come back with quality music and get another hit

they took their frustration with cardi for not dropping until now out on megan because according to them, she was "hogging" cardi's spotlight releasing megan and act ii back to back. but simultaneously, megan is supposed to be this big flop so i don't know why megan's releases would matter.

they will never admit it but there's also a sizable sliver of BG that want megan to be cardi's lapdog despite the fact that cardi herself hangs around multiple people that disrespect megan i.e. pardi, jason lee and whichever of her friends that's a leprechaun lover.
