Beyoncé debuted in 2003 so her streams are not terrible when we think of it, it's unfair to compare her to girls who debuted in late 00's or during the 10's. Though it's true that considering how active she is and involved in her career, her streams are somehow surprisingly low even for her recent successful songs

Because she just isn't as big as the media and her fans would have you believe, and that's just factual. The discourse around her doesn't match the measurable interest she gets when you strip away the headlines and look at how her music actually performs over time.

Because it's all fake media propaganda, we have been saying this since her whole 'persona' created in 2013 and on. Her streaming numbers are really bad.

With all these dissertations about collabs the hive is writing you'd think they're copy pasting the credits of Bey's albums

Lately she has released two albums with no visuals and then went on 2 tours. And that's it. She doesn't acknowledge her music the same way she acknowledges Cecred, her whisky brand or perfumes, she does nothing to prolong her eras.

She's legendary and for someone who debuted in the 90's she's doing really good and on top of numbers she has an actual legacy (not everybody has that), but I do think this type of behaviour hurts her in the long run. Fans want some sort of connection and engagement not just asking them for money with your non music related endeavours. I don't get how can you be THE performer and refuse to put your performances on youtube for instance. Thank God for the Netflix deal, because I fear Coachella would be rotting on her shelves to this day or have a limited theatre run like Renaissance Movie did.
