  • Cause Jay-Z does not own it, so she can't commit fraud with this one like she did with Tidal. She is still heavily playlisted and payola-ed, but the GP just does not care about her anymore.

  • So they are not listening to singles but whole albums and the streams are still bad? That made no sense

  • i feel like the streaming numbers really are the real tellers when it comes to the "smoke and mirrors" narrative beyonce has had for a while.

I think her overall absence during her latest eras really contributed to that. I personally think her new stuff is also not as good as her self titled album/Lemonade. Those two were def more accessible to the public as well

She's also a flop on Apple Music cm

I feel like her first four albums don't have that many "bop" songs that have good streaming numbers (Gimme More, Womanizer, Bad Romance, Just Dance, Poker Face, TikTok, Your Love Is My Drug, all of Teenage Dream, Rihanna's catalog) - which are in right now, so maybe that's why her streams are low?

she had a succefull tour in 3 countries of the world, I think she's ok

You're misinterpreting what she said. Shes not against releasing singles, she was criticising artists who chase singles at the expense of a cohesive album. Break My Soul and Texas Hold 'Em aren't quick little singles lmao, they are lead singles introducing conceptual albums. Quick little singles are disposable songs released just to become hits with no artistic home. Renaissance and Cowboy Carter are both very cohesive albums and both the leads fit on those albums. I am really fascinated by the way a large portion of you have such awful comprehension skills.

I think you mean chasing hit singles, not just releasing singles in general. The reason I'm saying she fumbled, is because you can have hit singles and a cohesive album, like HMHAS and ANTi, for example. But Beyonce avoided having hit singles, thinking it would put more focus on the albums, but in the end, the albums in whole were forgotten- hence why none of them ever chart now and have tragic recurrent streams.

Trying to rectify having no hits for so long, she started chasing hits by hopping on those remixes. Also, THE and BMS are absolutely "quick little singles" because they were intended to be hits, had radio deals, debuted at #1, and then burned out. Now no one revisits them, nor the albums.

Hope this helps heart

She's not relevant.

Beyonce daily Spotify streams:

Cuff it - 180788

Break my soul - 85923rip

Texas - 293853

Single ladies (one of her most memorable hits apparently) - 203045clap3

What is the reason behind this? Shouldn't the biggest popstar on the planet be enough promotion for people to stream her songs? What can she do to improve this metric, and does she even need to at this point in her career?

These are all flops and I have a feeling they will flop even harder with time, BUT you left out the hits: Halo, Crazy in love, Irreplaceable are doing well

Obsessed with how we're just making things up to drag Beyonce for no reason deadbanana

The audience want bops from her and nothing else, hence why Cuff It became a hit while her feaux-intellectual, food for thought, supposedly awe-inspiring turds keep getting declined for almost a decade now.

Beyonce makes pop music for adults. It's not faux-intellectual food for thought, it's just not hey kids spelling is fun. Her music is extremely unpretentious. For example(from her #1 hit single) where is this "feaux-intellectual, food for though, supposedly awe-inspiring turd":

"This ain't Texas (woo), ain't no hold 'em (hey)
So lay your cards down, down, down, down
So park your Lexus (woo) and throw your keys up (hey)
Stick around, 'round, 'round, 'round, 'round (stick around)
And I'll be damned if I can't slow dance with you
Come pour some sugar on me, honey too
It's a real life boogie and a real life hoedown
Don't be a *****, come take it to the floor now, woo, huh (woo)"

Literally nobody ever called her this.

She's the new Madonna. She's above the charts. clap3

You woke up and decided to be mean to the Pop and MDNE creator?

idk why people keep saying her hype doesn't match when most of that comes from bey's talent and status as a veteran pop girl rip

The hive does not concern themselves with streamcount. The hive streams music because, like Beyonce once said, "people don't listen to the whole body of work anymore". So that's what they're doing.

They sure do concern themselves with Miss Debra's streamcount coffee2

awful discography.

awful discography.

it's more acclaimed than Gaga's catalog. what does that make Gaga's discography?

I don't think the thread title is fair, she's a flop on other streaming services too

It's kind of unfair to use todays count, because Renaissance has a solid amount of total streams, it just seems that people don't stick around after the first months/year after release

Just as an example:

Gaga turned around her streaming game because she has WORKED an entire decade to recapture what she once lost. Ever since ASIB, Gaga has not left the limelight. She attended all events, did multiple interviews, went to radio stations, booked gigs all over the entertainment world, etc.. she became VISIBLE. And look now -> she has steady streams, her back catalog is also doing good, etc.

Beyonce has done NOTHING for the past decade besides going on tours and dropping her album and uploading pictures on instagram. Theres no push involved. No interviews, no shows, heck we dont even get MVs.

Her streaming game has NOTHING to do with the music, but everything with the fact she simply does NOTHING. So when you do nothing, you get nothing. Its that simple.

The fact shes still doing that well is a miracle tbh.

I agree with you and she is a grown woman so of course she can do whatever she wants. But as I fan of both Gaga and Bey, sometimes it is annoying that she doesn't promote her albums. Not even for our own satisfaction , just because her music is good and it deserves to have more push. Sadly I don't think she will ever do that and after Act 3 she will Probably Vanish for 10 years

And what does that make Katy's discography? It's like Dante's Inferno Circles Of Hell at this point, oh my god, or Godga, or Godty.

This is a tired topic

But the 3 songs you listed smashed out the gate and the interest was there. However she's so far in her career she doesn't care and did nothing to cement them.

Everything they achieved was due to tiktok trends (which she doesnt use) and fan interest

The hive is too busy disrespecting legends who paved the way for their fave and creating imaginary beefs to actually stream her music I fear

Petition to make a Beyonce streaming megathread for Gaga Monsters to discuss Beyonce's streams daily without the burden of making a new thread about it every day clap3

she's literally pulling over 10M daily streams on Spotify, how is that a flop? rip

people go to her concerts and buy her albums so she'll be fine

To be more fair: She is spot 40 for the most streamed artists of all time and spot 45 for monthly listeners since 2023.
