And we're back! It's time once again to reward the best music of the past year, and to compare our collective tastes with those of the world's premier music awards show. Using the same categories, procedures and timeline as its namesake, the ATRL Grammys provides an opportunity for members to get in on the Grammy fun before the ceremony in February.

Last year's edition proved to be very bratty, as Charli XCX took several top prizes, while Jade also enjoyed a surprised breakthrough with her Record of the Year win. After a much quieter year for music, the field feels wide open this time around!

SUBMISSIONS

In the first stage of the nomination process, ATRL members can submit their favorite albums, songs and artists in up to 27 actual Grammy categories. Music released from August 31, 2024 to August 30, 2025 is eligible for consideration. You do not have to enter submissions for every category.

BALLOTS ARE DUE BY NOVEMBER 22, 2025. PLEASE SEND BY PRIVATE MESSAGE.

It's that time again! The ATRL Grammys are back for another year.

I don't even know what to promote as an FYC this year. It feels like it's been so dry! But here is a rundown of official submissions, if it helps with ideas: https://www.goldderby.com/topic/2026-grammy-submissions/

I'll join

Ava and Don't Click Play about to sweep

Cutoff for eligibility is August 30, unfortunately, so she will have to wait for next year!

In the OP? Those are just the graphics I made, so nothing important, but that's very weird!

uk has blocked one of the big image carrying sites for no good reason ("online safety"? lmao), i'm getting a lot of it atm

Sign me up, always look forward to these every year.

The UK recently introduced anti-*****graphy online laws so I'm guessing something about you graphics must've registered as "adult content" (either sexual or violent) for UK servers.

@TomTom @SmittenCake @ChooseyLover @gettsleazy @$ebert @bearman@AvadaKedavra @Popboi. @fountain @collin anyone else I havent tagged, should we nominate Kesha?

Sure if I participate I'll add her here and there. My issue is that I feel like I don't listen to enough new music to join this type of things...

the p*rn ban is (so i'm told : ) not as specific as that, it's a site by site thing. this is more likely to be the imgur block

Oh wow! It's literally just a picture of a Grammy. Maybe it's because I hosted them on Imgur?

I respect that, but if there's something you really loved, feel free to advocate for it!

I'll join but the best music this year came mostly after the eligibility period
