Ugh no, the cast has felt overcrowded for almost a decade now. It was sad to see some of last year's players depart last week but now they've effectively replaced them all and then some

Serious question: does anyone under 35 genuinely and actively watch SNL anymore? Feels like such a boomer/Gen X/older millennial show nowadays.  This show feels so dated to me and well past its peak.
 

Sure, clips go viral on TikTok when A-list celebs or celebs with big fanbases host or perform on it. However, I feel like there are hardly any Gen Z/younger millennials that actually tune in week for week and say "I gotta watch SNL this Saturday!"

I'll watch the performances and skits on YT usually when it's a celeb I really like. Don't blame you for occasionally checking in when you're bored. I do the same with some shows.

True but I'm Gen Z and there are shows I actively watch on the day that the episode comes out though and look forward to it! However, these are on streaming services. 
 

I forget SNL is still on TV cause I see it advertised sm on Peacock.
