I love her, she was born to be a star and she's right but Something Beautiful aged after a day. I feel that way a lot about her music. It's almost like she's imitating a genre like with Younger Now, Plastic Hearts and now Something Beautiful rather than actually embodying it. I think she wants to be versatile like Gaga/Bey/Taylor have done with their discographies but it feels like she doesn't have the knowledge that those artists have to pull off the evolutions so it just ends up feeling a little inauthentic and I think that's why nothing ever really sticks for her

I'm shocked she didn't bash her past albums unless I missed it?

I feel like this has been her attitude her entire career. No one should be shocked she feels this way, and I believe she's being genuine.

 

I feel like she loves making music and hates everything else expected about it from marketing to charts to touring.

And I can't at the 'impactful albums' teas when she doesn't have a single impactful album in her discography

 

She has a point but would she say the same thing if her album had smashed?

True. So now she should send us all the money she receives from music cuz clearly it's just charity to her 

She has a point sure but not saying anything about numbers to begin with would have been more impactful than trying to play it off cool which makes it look more like she does care.

 

At the end of the day, she's a pop artist and pop artists sell commercial products even if they're artistic in nature. Sometimes they smash, sometimes they flop. It is what it is.

 

Also, numbers literally exist in music theory.

Why is atrl always so mad and angry when another pop girl says that  these people are rich beyond believe, mostly from other sources than the music itself, why should they care as much as stans and labels do?

It's always during the flopping era when they come up with this ****. 

If she really cared about the numbers as some thinks, she wouldn't cut the Bangerz era so soon and then release probably the most anti-commercial album she could at the moment. I'll just say that.
