Both ladies debuted around the same time (Xtina in 1999, Nelly in 2000). Both released their last successful albums in 2006. Both have released the same amount of albums. Xtina had a couple successful features in the 2010s boosting inflating her stats, but they aren't enough to beat Ms. Furtado in 2025. Why do you think this is happening?

It's because monthly listeners takes into account people listening to features. Most of Xtina's streams come from MLJ/Feel This Moment etc.

No one should be surprised. Xtina isn't even in the top 20 best selling female artists for 2000s releases, which is her strongest decade.

She released a full album in Spanish, so she must be a Latina.

Without MLJ and FTM the consumption is poor. Of course Xtina is still a celebrity and known by most Millenials/Gen X, but her catalogue isn't being consumed well compared to her peers.

No shade, but Xtina surprisingly has some of the worst stats for a MPG

If she ever gets it together her whole catalogue will see a huge boost because she has the solo hits and they're just as good as her collabs or even better. I think deep down we all know this and that's why it's shocking for many of us to see how poorly she's doing compared to her peers.
 

One successful era would change everything for her. She hasn't had that in almost 20 years but that doesn't take away her many achievements.
