No, no one forces me to listen to anything I don't want to. Turn that option off and that's the end of the problem.

Her payola is double the size of the push that Warner gave Dua in 2020-2021. The real playlist and TTH chanteuse I fear!

I'm getting her music video recommended to me on youtube (mind u i don't listen to music or watch mvs on youtube) and when i click "not interested" it WON'T go away  the shameless payola

it's more likely that artists are identified by spotify as on trend with widely accessible music. billie, sabrina and chappell clearly test well with listeners and are safe choices.

That does make sense. I wasn't trying to imply anything negitive about any particular artist anyway. DWAS also got tonns of autoplay in the beginning but I don't think anyone would deny it's a legitimately huge song.

Yeah when it's not aggressively shoving a specific song or artist in my face autoplay can be pretty good when you aren't in the mood to listen to one specific artist or playlist. I don't mind it playing Sabrina songs but it's just it being so constant thats annoying.

Yup

Billie is literally queen of autoplay if you see the trend of her songs. But people do like her songs specially HMHAS which is pretty harmless. 

Same goes for Bruno who is king of autoplay 

Am I the only one who never had random artists popup on autoplay on Spotify ? Is it because I only listen to playlists I make myself ?

I also listen to my own playlists but after that I do get random artists from time to time like Olivia Dean, Myles Smith (never heard of them before)…

My hands seem to be automatically clicking play on her album 

my autoplay is off so

yes I tried to call my mom and a Sabrina song came on playing randomly wtf!

i have to guess its negotiated with labels because spotify has the tech capacity to run very personalized autoplay based on what you listen to and, in almost every other area, they focus on personalization (playlists, wrapped, etc). it has no engagement-based reason to promote big releases this way.
