Would Kesha and The Flaming Lips album have been her best work?

Featured Replies

I was so excited for this album when she and The Flaming Lips announced they working on Lipsha together then we annoyingly never got it.

Would this had been her best album post Warrior?

I don't know, but she mentioned in a magazine interview for Period that she's looking into how she can legally get it released. So it might come out!

I really hope it does. Dead Petz was Miley's most creative and ambitious record, and I know Kesha is capable of something just as experimental.

We don't know, but Miley made it with the Flaming Lips, so it's the only other FL-produced pop girl album we can speculate with

why do you think TFL couldn't release the album under their name if Kesha couldn't under her's?

recording was halted halfway through (thanks to luke) so whever we do eventually get from those 2011/2012 sessions is very little.

because Luke owned her voice "in the universe in perpetuity" timestamped at about 35:40

this whole interview is great insight into her thoughts and feelings about her life and career as a whole and some stuff we didnt really know yet

Rainbow is better than what Lipsha would've been

Lipsha would have had cohesion, which Rainbow (while a stellar career highlight album) is a complete mess and lacks direction.
